The Legislative Priorities serve as the basis for formulating a legislative agenda, ensuring that the agenda is aligned with the key issues that lawmakers intend to address.
Legislative Priorities comes in from several sources such as government bodies, World Commissions, Parliamentary Commissions, leaders within the legislative body (MPWPs & MWPs), public input, current events, research & data, committee findings, constitutional mandates, legislative mandates, etc.
Agenda-Setting Meetings: Regular meetings or sessions conducted to discuss and determine the items to be included in the legislative priorities pursuant to the Legislative Procedure.
