World Electoral and Administrative Districts

(basic structure of the World Government)

The basic direct electoral and administrative units of the World Government are World Electoral and Administrative Districts (WEADs). A total of not more than 1000 World Electoral and Administrative Districts are defined, and are nearly equal in population, within the limits of plus or minus ten percent.

Responsible Government body in Provisional Stage:

World Elections Commission,
Provisional World Government.

In the provisional stage, the World Elections Commission prepares a provisional global map of World Electoral and Administrative Districts and Regions which may be revised during the first or second operative stage of World Government.

Informational Content:

Electoral Unit/District: A political boundary/subdivision of a state created for one specific purpose: to organize elections. Electoral District is a mapped boundary of a Constituency.

Administrative Unit/District: A political boundary/subdivision of a state created for the purpose of governance and providing public services.
