Since October 2023, the flag known as The International Flag of Planet Earth, designed by Oskar Pernefeldt, has been used as the flag of the Federation of Earth.

Formerly Used Flag:

In 1969, peace activist John McConnell introduced his design, known as the Earth Flag, to symbolize the planet Earth. The 1973 iteration of this flag incorporates "The Blue Marble," a photograph of Earth captured on December 7, 1972, by the crew of Apollo 17 during their mission to the Moon, with the planet depicted against a dark blue background. This version of McConnell's flag was utilized unofficially as the flag of the Federation of Earth until 2023.
